Description of the beautiful holiday home
Casa Carrasco is the ultimate vacation spot where you can spend hours absorbing the endless view in a splendid scenery. From the terraces you'll look out over a beautiful valley with olive trees and almond trees and the mountains of the nature park in the distance. Casa Carrasco is a converted cortijo (formal farm house), totally free-standing and surrounded by nature, with only a few other houses in the same valley. Just enjoy the sun terraces or a place in the shade below the covered section, and revel in the flowering plants and shrubs around you. Stairs from the terrace take you down to the swimming pool, from where the surrounding nature is a unique experience. Casa Carrasco has been tastefully restored. The beautiful tiled floors and beams on the ceiling have created a characterful holiday house with 3 shower rooms and a contemporary kitchen. The old bread oven is still in place. You can count on the owners' advice and information anytime. The last stretch of 2 km to the house is on a dirt road with some steep bits. You can go for a walk into the valley straight from the house.
Surroundings of the holiday home
Within 20 minutes by car you can be in Colmenar and Comares. Colmenar is a convivial village with everything you may need. Comares is in a beautiful location at the top of a hill. You will like the bars and restaurants in this characteristic Andalusian village. The highway to Granada and Cordoba is a 15 minute drive from Colmenar. Antequera, Alhama de Granada and Ronda are interesting smaller towns in the vicinity. Exquisite nature parks, such as Montes de Malaga and the rugged nature at Alfarnate and Periana are within a 30 minute drive.

Ground floor - living room with lounge section by the wood burner. A few steps up take you to a bedroom with 2 single beds and an en-suite with shower, toilet and washbasin. A modern kitchen/diner and an extra bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin.
First floor - one bedroom with 2 single beds, one bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite with shower, toilet and washbasin.

• The 8x4m swimming pool has a depth of 1.10-1.80 m.
• Minimum stay is 7 nights all year round.
• Nearest airport is Malaga (AGP), approximately 50 minutes away.
