Finca Lomas de Tienda is part of an old Finca. The friendly owners chose to build their paradise, complete with their sweet domestic animals, like a donkey and a shetland pony, at this location, far away from mass tourism. It's an ideal spot for hikers and people with children, and for those who are looking for tranquillity. Also people who love golf and/or Andalusian culture will enjoy a great holiday at Finca Lomas de Tienda.
The owners are your next door neighbours but value your privacy and their own. There are several private terraces available to the guests of this holiday home. The German owners have lived in this property for over 25 years, and manage this organic farm; their fresh and natural prodcuts will definitely enrich your menu. Dependent on the season they offer a selection of fruits, nuts, herbs and vegetables. Eggs and scrumptious homemade marmelades - of for example lemon and fig - are also available to you.
The interior of the house is comfortable and homely. The swimming pool, maintained and available all year round, is surrounded by a patio and is a great place for a sunbath. Because of the central heating, the house is just as ideal in the somewhat cooler winter months.
Surroundings of Finca Lomas de Tienda
The nearest somewhat larger village is Villanueva de la Concepcion with shops and a few bars and restaurants, at a distance of 5 km. There is a good restaurant in the vicinity where you can enjoy the menu of the day made with fresh produce, for approximately 10 euro. The cities of Antequera, Malaga, Ronda and Granada are well accessible from the house. The view from this holiday home is dominated by the beautiful natural park El Torcal, well worth a visit!
The nearest supermarkt is only 700 metres away. The baker comes by the house every day, selling bread and cakes. Behind the finca there is a small paddock with a shetland pony and a donkey. Luna the big friendly dog and her younger pussycat sister also live on the grounds. Children are encouraged to pet the animals if they wish.
