Casa Alpaca is an ideal vacation spot for outdoor enthusiasts; long walks in rugged landscapes, peace, quiet and animals. Children will imagine themselves on a petting zoo. Besides alpacas, and some lovely dogs and cats, there is Josefa the donkey who likes to be caressed. The bells of goats on their way to their pasture are part of the environment. The English owners are happy to let you enjoy the country life with them. The smaller Casa Alpaca Pequeña is located to the side of Casa Alpaca Grande. A partition ensures absolute privacy. Shared use of the swimming pool with spacious terrace. The owners love to hike and are happy to inform you about hiking possibilities in the area. From the holiday home you have a beautiful view of the Torcal mountains with jagged rock formations. This really is an excellent starting point for spectacular hikes. The large fireplace also makes Casa Alpaca Grande a comfortable holiday home in winter.
Before she came to live in Spain, the owner had a ceramics factory, much of her beautiful work can be found in and around the house. She also makes "paintings" and pillowcases from the wool of the alpacas. Much of her work is for sale.

Surroundings of Casa Alpaca Grande
Casa Alpaca Grande is not far from the village of Villanueva de la Concepción. Antequera is 20 minutes and has supermarkets and good restaurants. Córdoba (1.5 hours) and Seville (2 hours) are easy to visit. Málaga, with many fish restaurants and entertainment options, is also an attractive city in every season. The immediate area invites you to go for long walks. Alpacas and donkeys live on the old farm itself, and you are more than welcome to help with the care of the animals.

La Taha Tip
Visit the nearby nature reserve and UNESCO site of El Torcal. Bird watchers will love this place. The park has existed since 1929 and has a size of 1171 hectares. It is best known for its karst-period rock formations that have been modelled into striking shapes through erosion.
